Job Summary :
The purpose of this position is to support and assist in the management of medium to complex space planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Facility Planning
- In coordination with the Business units and local facility managers, develops and updates the facility short – mid range seating Block & Stack plans. This includes planning for facilities expansions, contractions and furniture reconfiguration / modifications to meet future space requirements. Meets these objectives by optimizing efficiency and effectiveness of space utilization, providing for changing requirements on a timely basis and assuring consistency in general design and appearance. This also includes developing and updating facility related aspects of each country’s Business Continuity Plans.
- Responsible for the accuracy with the space data (e.g.: space classification/numbering/naming/polyline, capacity, occupancy, vacancy, ). Coordinate with Real Estate Technical Center team as needed.
Project Planning and Execution
- Coordinate design activities with architects and ID consultants / Internal RE Tech Center team for minor office remodeling or minor office project.
- Generate monthly / quarterly Occupancy & Vacancy reports for major facilities and keep track the trending.
- Coordinate with local operation team for regular site audit.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university preferred. Minimum of four years of related experience and/or training.
- AutoCAD drawing experience is required.
- CAFM software experience is preferred.
- Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design and/or Certification in Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management preferred.
- LEED certification or Facility Manager Certification preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an effective way. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
- Ability to collaborate, problem solve and multi-task. Ability to adapt to change when necessary. Familiar with system furniture design and modular furniture while demonstrating knowledge and adherence to building regulations and health & safety guidelines.
